Target Oriented Golf - Putting Golf Psychology Into Practice

Target Oriented Golf Seminar
Range Training For Your Conscious Mind

Colin Cromack is delighted to present 1 day Target Oriented Golf group workshops in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Concentrate. Focus. Stay Present. Words easily spoken by many. Attentional focus explains HOW humans concentrate and Target Oriented Golf teaches you HOW and WHERE you should focus to play golf. Should your focus be on what you are looking at or what you are thinking about as you swing? Is there a difference? What about in the seconds before you swing? Which has priority? Do you understand the real consequence of random thoughts in your golf routines? Are you outcome oriented or target oriented? There is a real difference and it has a critical impact on your ability to play golf consistently.

Irrespective of your technical ability, every golfer needs to understand the art of attentional focus for it lies at the heart of your inconsistent performance today. Erroneous thoughts in competition destroy those great golf swings practiced on the range by altering your physiology and destroying your ability to focus. You will learn how to develop simple and repeatable pre and post shot MENTAL routines which can be used for every golf shot on the course. Switch Focus On. Switch Focus Off. Repeat. The Assessing, Planning and Practice phases of your pre-shot routines will vary dependent on the shot to be played. The Execution phase can be identical for ALL shots, from the first tee to the last putting green. The simplicity and clarity of target orientation will give you the confidence to perform at new levels.

Colin will explain in detail what attentional focus is and how to achieve it consistently for golf. Some call it the performance Zone but do not understand how they got there or why they leave it so quickly! You will discover an understanding and awareness of your CONSCIOUS mind and how to use it out on the golf course. It is, after all, how you choose to think which determines the reality you experience on and off the golf course.

There is a lot to understand about the WHY in order to consistently apply the HOW of target orientation. Comprehensive theory will be discussed in the morning sessions and demonstrations of how to apply the theory in the afternoon sessions. Bring along your putter and 5 Iron. We will be indoors but you will be able to practice the routines being presented. The aim of this workshop is simple. To show you how to trust your technique and focus on playing golf. You will leave this unique golf coaching workshop with practical Pre, Transition and Post shot MENTAL routines demonstrating where, when, why and how to guide your conscious mind throughout keeping you relaxed, concentrated and target oriented on course.

Please come along and experience a golf coaching workshop like no other. Discover the Psychology of Aiming!

"Colin Cromack's outstanding workshop on 'Getting in the Zone', helps athletes and coaches understand how to improve their performance through developing attentional focus and anxiety management skills. Colin's session was a highlight of this year's conference and had participants wanting more..."

Great feedback from a talented UK teenager gives me hope others will follow his lead:

"Hi Colin, Ive just come home from my club championship and I won by 6 shots! (2 rounds of golf) I must say I genuinley owe it to you 100% as I have found an awareness that I never had before!

I shot 67 in my 1st round, 4 birdies and an eagle, and 75 in my second round (maybe just a coincidence but exacly the same scoreas the man who shot an 88 then 75 on your website, I was 1 under through 9, then got ahead of myself, and took an unncessesary risk which cost me an 8!)

I will definitely look into coming to a workshop as today has proved to me (if I needed any more!) that TOG is incredibly important, well, the most important aspect of good golf. The strange thing is that it doesnt feel like I struck the ball particurlaly well, but just seemed to get the job done.

I hope to meet you sometime in the near future and discover more! Cheers, Sam (Hainsworth Park club champion!) "
