Colin will present "Attentional Focus For Golf", what it is and how to achieve it consistently for golf. Some call it the Zone but do not understand how they get there or why they can leave it so quickly! Comprehensive theory will be discussed in the morning sessions and demonstrations of how to apply the theory in the afternoon sessions. Colin specialises in training the CONSCIOUS mind.

Attentional Focus – detailed explanation of what it is and how to use your brain's internal verbal and visual systems to actively guide your attention throughout your pre-shot, transition and post-shot routines. This session explains the ‘why’ to the ‘how’ to be experienced in the afternoon practical coaching session in Day 2. Discussion of Target Oriented Golf concepts – presentation explains the impact of performance anxiety on golf performance, its cause and resolution, the significant psychological difference between target and outcome oriented golf and how to use the CONSCIOUS mind to master visualisation skills. |
